From 2001 to 2006, The Institute of Healing Arts and Sciences curriculum featured a 2 year Energy Medicine Certificate program and a 4 year Advanced Energy Medicine Certificate program. Successful completion of an additional 90-hour internship qualified internees for an Energy Medicine Practitioner (EMP) Diploma.

These IHAS programs were designed for participants—whether already in or planning to enter the medical and healing communities—to explore in-depth personal and professional growth and to become highly trained and effective practitioners in the field of Energy Medicine.

Curricular options included continuing education for EMPs.
